About

Founded in 2001 by 11 independent Mountain West dairy families, Wasatch Dairy Farmers manufactures natural cheese, premium sauces & dairy bases, and cultured products for commercial and non-commercial foodservice operators. Our co-op model keeps every dollar of margin with the farms that produced the milk — a structure we've honored, unchanged, for 25 years.

Today we're announcing the expansion of our foodservice distribution partnership with Nicholas & Company, extending Wasatch product availability to more operators across Utah, Idaho, and Nevada. For 25 years, our co-op has been built on one principle: keep the milk local, keep the margin with the farmer. Partners like Nicholas & Company make that possible at scale.

Spent yesterday at a Provo school district cafeteria watching our Sunrise Cheddar Breakfast Pizza go out to 1,800 students in under 40 minutes. This is what R&D is for. Not another item on a slide deck — a build that actually works for the cafeteria manager, the kids, and the operator's cost sheet. Proud of the culinary team. #K12Foodservice #ProductDevelopment

Twenty-five years ago, eleven of us stood in a barn outside Heber and shook hands on an idea: what if we owned the whole route from the parlor to the plate. Everything since — the plant in Spanish Fork, the K-12 program, the trucks in six states — traces back to that morning. Still farming. Still grateful.
